WORKING HARD FOR HARD-WORKING FAMILIES

Born and raised in Columbus, Kyle Strickland will bring new leadership to the statehouse to fight for our values. As an attorney at Ohio State’s Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity, Kyle devotes much of his time to the My Brother’s Keeper initiative, which promotes educational and community opportunities for boys and young men of color.

Before joining the Kirwan Institute, Kyle graduated from The Ohio State University and went on to earn a law degree from Harvard Law School, where he served as Student Body President and worked with students and administrators to implement reforms on campus. Kyle is ready to build a strong foundation for the next generation. As your State Senator, Kyle will advocate for the advancement of our communities, good jobs for all residents, and quality education for every student regardless of their zip code.

Senate District 15 covers most of central Franklin County, including Bexley, Grandview, and Grandview Heights, with the majority of the district encompassing the historic neighborhoods of the City of Columbus. Kyle is dedicated to working hard to support each and every resident in this district, focusing on fighting for quality education, creating good-paying jobs, and advancing our communities.
